Mary Rose Manor are extremely pleased to be partnering with apetito. As leading food providers to the health and social care sector, apetito have been providing delicious meals for the elderly for over 60 years and are proud to feed over 20,000 residents every day.
All apetito meals are developed by their talented in-house chefs and qualified dietitians and are made from high quality ingredients, sustainably sourced from their trusted suppliers. All apetito’s meals meet the nutritional standards required by the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and the National Association of Care Catering (NACC).
In August, Mary Rose Manor held a food tasting delivered by apetito. The tasting was a success with the residents, relatives and staff who were present on the day, saying they would be happy to have apetito on the menu.
What does this mean for our residents?
With over 200 delicious, meals and desserts to choose from, there is something for everyone. This ensures our residents receive a variety of well-presented exciting dishes and flavours, making sure everyone is looking forward to mealtimes.
By partnering with apetito our residents will receive exceptional food and nutrition as well as a great dining experience. apetito cater for all tastes, dietary needs and cultural requirements, including religious preferences such as Halal and Kosher dishes.
They also offer a market leading range of level 3, 4, 5 and 6 International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IIDSI) compliant Texture Modified meals to safely cater for residents with dysphagia, for which they received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2016. For residents with dementia or dysphagia this will increase the enjoyment surrounding mealtimes as these Texture Modified meals are well presented, enhancing their visual appeal.
Alongside all the tasty meals from apetito, Mary Rose Manor’s talented and qualified chef will also produce an array of food, homemade cakes and gateaux to meet the requests of residents who may wish to have alternatives.
The official apetito launch at Mary Rose Manor will take place on 5th October 2020.
